Description:
This 12-month project will honour the lives and legacies of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and LGBTQ2S individuals and increase awareness about missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls and LGBTQ2S individuals. Project activities will include: the creation and installation of a commemorative monument, coordination of an unveiling ceremony and feast, a Grandmother-led Sisters in Spirit walk, and a young women’s drum group.
