Description:
This 48-month project will reduce barriers to stable employment and opportunities for advancement for women working in not-for-profit sectors in Ontario. To achieve this, the organization will conduct a gender analysis of systemic conditions which contribute to precarious work, and develop, pilot and promote and disseminate new practice and policy solutions that address fair wages, pensions and other benefits, equal rights at work, and measures to improve and sustain government investment in the sector.

The WP supports the Government of Canada’s goal of advancing gender equality in Canada. It is consistent with Government of Canada priorities related to economic prosperity, and supports Canada’s international commitments related to gender equality.
