Description:

This 16-month project aims to strengthen the capacity of Divers-Gens to promote LGBTQ2 equality. The following activities will achieve the project objectives: supporting human resource management and organizational governance capacity; ensuring long-term sustainability through the development of a fundraising strategy; and developing knowledge about their target population to advance LGBTQ2 equality. By the end of the project, the organization will have increased its knowledge and capacity to advance equality with respect to gender, sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression.

The purpose of ESSOGIE program is to advance social, political and economic equality with respect to sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression.

Advancement towards a greater understanding of the intersection of sex and gender with other identity factors that include race, national and ethnic origin, Indigenous origin or identity, age, sexual orientation, socio-economic condition, place of residence and disability are encouraged under the Program.
