Description:

This 17-month project will strengthen the capacity and networks of Truro Pride Society to advance LGBTQ2 equality. This will be achieved by building managerial capacity and by strengthening collaboration among organizations through the development of partnerships, networks and knowledge sharing. At the end of the project, the organization will have increased its knowledge and capacity to advance equality with respect to sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression; and partnerships and collaborations will have been established and/or strengthened to support the LGBTQ2 movement.

Advancement towards a greater understanding of the intersection of sex and gender with other identity factors that include race, national and ethnic origin, Indigenous origin or identity, age, sexual orientation, socio-economic condition, place of residence and disability are encouraged under the Program.
