Description:
This 17-month project will strengthen the capacity and networks of OUTniagara Community Network for Sexual and Gender Diversity to advance 2SLGBTQ+ equality. This will be achieved by increasing access to evidence and knowledge of 2SLGBTQ+ challenges and barriers through a Community Strengths and Needs Assessment; building collective capacity through skills development; and building managerial capacity through governance, organizational and strategic planning. At the end of the project, the organization will have increased knowledge and capacity to advance equality with respect to sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression; and established and/or strengthened partnerships and collaborations to support the 2SLGBTQ+ movement.

Advancement towards a greater understanding of the intersection of sex and gender with other identity factors that include race, national and ethnic origin, Indigenous origin or identity, age, sexual orientation, socio-economic condition, place of residence and disability are encouraged under the Program.
