To do so, the project will develop a practical and comprehensive childcare model, addressing issues around supervised and secure services for children before and after school hours, as well as gaps in transportation services in Ontario’s semi-rural south-east region, to improve their economic security. Due to school closures and changes in health and safety standards related to the COVID-19 health crisis, the organization will have to adjust its response to child care and transportation issues in its region.
