Description:
This 24-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow the Young Women’s Christian Association of Cambridge (YWCA Cambridge) to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the development of a social enterprise model connected to the local food industry that will create opportunities to advance the economic security of women and gender nonconforming individuals who face barriers and discrimination in finding employment and meaningful connections.
The supplemental funds will cover the costs of physically moving the social enterprise to a new location.
