Description:

This 17-month project will strengthen the capacity of The Bridge to advance LGBTQ2 equality. This will be achieved by identifying and engaging with key stakeholders, conducting environmental scans, investigating incorporation, policies and bylaws, formalization and building capacity for strong organizational health. At the end of the project, the organization will become legally constituted; have increased knowledge and capacity to advance equality with respect to sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression; and will have established and/or strengthened partnerships and collaborations to support the LGBTQ2 movement.

The purpose of ESSOGIE program is to advance social, political and economic equality with respect to sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression.

Advancement towards a greater understanding of the intersection of sex and gender with other identity factors that include race, national and ethnic origin, Indigenous origin or identity, age, sexual orientation, socio-economic condition, place of residence and disability are encouraged under the Program.
