Description:

This 15-month project will strengthen the capacity and networks of Collectif LGBTQ* du Manitoba to advance LGBTQ2 equality. This will be achieved by building managerial capacity; strengthening collaboration among organizations; increasing access to evidence, data, information, and knowledge sources; and advancing LGBTQ2 equality using an intersectional approach. At the end of the project, the organization will have created and incorporated a provincial Francophone LGBTQ2 organization for Manitoba.

The purpose of ESSOGIE program is to advance social, political and economic equality with respect to sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression.

Advancement towards a greater understanding of the intersection of sex and gender with other identity factors that include race, national and ethnic origin, Indigenous origin or identity, age, sexual orientation, socio-economic condition, place of residence and disability are encouraged under the Program.
