Description:
This 30-month project aims to foster a feminist response and recovery from the current impacts of COVID-19 through systemic change. To achieve this, the Centre francophone du Grand Toronto (CFGT) plans to 1) integrate GBA+ into all of programs delivered by the CFGT, 2) develop a partnership between different sectors in the Greater Toronto Area, and 3) implement promising practices in the elimination of violence against women and girls and achieving gender equality.
At the end of the project, the organization will have contributed to the removal of systemic barriers by 1) promoting inclusive policies and practices, and 2) increasing networks and collaboration to collaboration to accelerate systemic change in support of women's equality.
This project will develop a continuum of French language services for women and girls in the Greater Toronto Area and provide education and prevention of gender inequality while achieving systemic change.
