Description:
This 28-month project will support a feminist response to and recovery from the current impacts of COVID-19 through systemic change. To achieve this aim, L’ANTRE-HULLOISES INC. plans to engage and collaborate with stakeholders from the community and institutional communities identified and committed to implementing new practices that eliminate barriers that limit the educational pathways open to women and girls without high school diplomas. The organization will collect gendered data arising from the public health crisis to identify priority issues and implement the resulting action plan. Cooperation agreements with partners will support prioritized measures designed to eliminate barriers to education. Ultimately, the project’s impacts will affect access to employment for women and girls who have no high school diploma by eliminating systemic barriers that limit their educational advancement.
