Description:
This 13-month project will support a feminist response and recovery from the current impacts of COVID-19, through systemic change. Amata Transition House Society will achieve this by researching the disparity and unequitable work environment for transition house staff and providing policy recommendations on adequate resources, training, remuneration and safe and supported staffing models. Consulting with new and existing community partnerships and front-line staff will lead the direction of the research. At the end of the project, the organization will have contributed to addressing systemic barriers by increasing networks and collaboration to accelerate systemic change and supporting positive distribution of authority, voices to support women’s equality.
