Description:

This 23-month project will convene the gender equality movement in Canada and lay the groundwork for their collective and collaborative work to advance gender equality from coast-to-coast-to-coast. Specifically, CanWaCH will convene the gender equality movement through annual Gender Equality Summits and idea incubator sessions. They will provide a platform to amplify a diversity of voices and opinions, in particular those who are historically marginalized. They will also build coherence around common goals and build strong connections between organizations; center the voices of Indigenous, racialized, gender diverse and other marginalized communities; and engage youth leaders and change makers.
