Description:
This 12-month project aims to strengthen the capacity of ARCG – Aînés et retraités de la communauté gaie – to promote LGBTQ2 equality. Project objectives will be achieved by: 1) supporting governance and administrative capacity by developing several management policies and strategic planning; 2) improving operations management and self-governance by reviewing the service delivery structure, building volunteer skills and developing a communications and public relations plan; 3) strengthening partnerships by organizing networking activities with other LGBTQ+ organizations; and 4) ensuring the long-term financial sustainability of the organization by developing a three-year financial plan as well as a philanthropic plan.
By the end of the project, the organization will have increased knowledge and capacity to advance equality with respect to gender, sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression.

Advancement towards a greater understanding of the intersection of sex and gender with other identity factors that include race, national and ethnic origin, Indigenous origin or identity, age, sexual orientation, socio-economic condition, place of residence and disability are encouraged under the Program.
