Description:
This 12-month project is phase 2 of the project LGBTQ2s Capacity Building and will strengthen the capacity and networks of Chroma to advance LGBTQ2 equality. This will be achieved by engaging with community members and stakeholders, expanding board capacity, developing educational programs based on community needs, exploring revenue generating opportunities, and building sustainable operations and organizational strategy. At the end of the project, the organization will have increased knowledge and capacity, internally and sector-wide, to advance equality with respect to sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression. It will also have strengthened partnerships and collaborations to support the LGBTQ2 movement.

Program Purpose:

The purpose of ESSOGIE program is to advance social, political and economic equality with respect to sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression.

Advancement towards a greater understanding of the intersection of sex and gender with other identity factors that include race, national and ethnic origin, Indigenous origin or identity, age, sexual orientation, socio-economic condition, place of residence and disability are encouraged under the Program.
