Description:
This 12-month project is Phase 2 of Project SO20102 and it will enhance the capacity of the Truro Pride Society by developing promotional materials to engage with the 2SLGBTQIA+ community members, the business community within Colchester County of Nova Scotia, as well as with municipal, county and provincial levels of government. Truro Pride Society will become sustainable and cost-effective by developing a plan for ongoing education, awareness, and advocacy.
At the end of the project, the organization will have increased its knowledge and capacity to advance equality with respect to sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression (for example, quantity of evidence, data, information, and knowledge sources or percentage of staff trained in Gender-based Analysis Plus (GBA+) and partnerships and collaborations will have been established and/or strengthened to support the LGBTQ2 movement.
