Description:
This 29-month project will support a feminist response and recovery from the current impacts of COVID-19 through systemic change. Up with Women will achieve this by engaging corporations, by providing training and support to expert advisors, and by expanding their technical platform to improve access to advisory services for women at risk of homelessness or housing precarity. At the end of the project, the organization will have contributed to addressing systemic barriers of stigma of homelessness, housing precarity and the high costs related to accessing professional advice by increasing networks and collaboration to accelerate systemic change, and by addressing persistent harmful gender norms and attitudes to support women’s equality
