Description:

This 7-month project will strengthen the capacity of Kemptville Pride and networks to advance 2SLGBTQ2 equality. This will be achieved by building managerial capacity and strengthening collaboration among organizations. At the end of the project, the organization will have recruited additional diverse and qualified board members and volunteers and created an on-boarding manual for recruiting and training new board members. Further, the organization will have created a committee of partner organizations within the North Grenville area, to support improved collaboration.

The purpose of ESSOGIE program is to advance social, political and economic equality with respect to sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression.

Advancement towards a greater understanding of the intersection of sex and gender with other identity factors that include race, national and ethnic origin, Indigenous origin or identity, age, sexual orientation, socio-economic condition, place of residence and disability are encouraged under the Program.
