Description:
Through this 18-month project the Enchanté Network will equip 2SLGBTQI+ organizations with knowledge, tools and support to intersectionalize their organizations while enhancing cross-sector collaborations between 2SLGBTQI+ organizations and other equity-seeking organizations throughout Canada. In this way, it will expand and innovate the reach and impact of progressive organizations and movements on a national scale.
This objective will be achieved through research, a podcast, a national summit, and the development of two toolkits: one outlining concrete approaches to internally intersectionalize 2SLGBTQI+ organizations, and the other outlining strategies for building sustainable and productive cross-sectoral relationships between 2SLGBQTI+ organizations and other equity-seeking organizations in Canada.

Advancement towards a greater understanding of the intersection of sex and gender with other identity factors that include race, national and ethnic origin, Indigenous origin or identity, age, sexual orientation, socio-economic condition, place of residence and disability are encouraged under the Program.
