Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the following activities: development of a human resources strategy; creation of women's network and Indigenous Advisory Council; as well as the development and implementation of an advocacy framework and fundraising strategy. Through this additional funding, West Central Women's Resource Centre (WCWRC) will build a collaborative network of organizations serving 2SLGBTQ+ people in order to share resources and build capacity. Through a series of consultations, WCWRC will engage with their 2SLGBTQ+ staff and community to improve inclusion for employees and to better understand how to incorporate 2SLGBTQ+ inclusion in their work. Drawing on feedback from network meetings and staff consultations, the organization will review its policies and procedures and develop a robust framework that prioritizes 2SLGBTQ+ inclusion with the overall aim of rendering better service to the broader community.
