Description:
This 58-month project will address organizational capacity needs to engage Francophone and Acadian women’s organizations in Canada, become more responsive to the needs of its member organizations, and allow the organization to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the following activities: develop and implement a capacity-building plan, engage in partnership development, collaboration and networking, and improve the organization’s technological capacity. The first supplement will be used to reduce the impact of COVID-19 limitations on the project by enabling the organization to implement renewed strategic planning and crisis management training. The second supplement will enable the Alliance des femmes de la francophonie canadienne to update and increase its organizational capacities, to develop better policies, procedures and by-laws, and to improve the connection and concertation of Francophone women's groups in minority situation.
