Description:
This 60-month project will address organization capacity needs to allow the organization to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the following activities: development of a provincial strategic plan, including an implementation plan with strategic pillars, development of a sustainability plan and assessment of current practices to improve the strategy for advocating for the rights of women who have been subjected to violence, establishment of memoranda of understanding with various partners at the provincial, municipal and community levels to help improve the sector's sustainability, collaboration with a consultant to assess awareness activities, development of a human resources management plan, and development of a website for the network.
A supplement has been allocated to offer training to staff, improve the website, enhance sector capacity by hosting events, workshops and participation on provincial committee.
A second supplement was provided in 2023 to allow the organization to research and compile best practices in the victim services sector, related to human resources, recruitment and retention.
