Description:
This 57-month project will address organization capacity needs to allow the organization to continue promoting social and systemic changes towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the following activities: human resources management, board governance, strategic planning, partnership development, collaboration and networking, development of a claims strategy, implementation of results-based results, diversification of funding sources and Gender-Based Comparative Analysis Plus.
The additional amount awarded will be used to increase the number of hours allocated to the project to ensure the progress of the project in the context of COVID-19.
The 12-month extension and new supplementary funding will enable the organization to develop a youth intervention framework, review the service offering, develop orientation and training tools on working with victims’ friends and family, and finally, reflect on the challenges of sexual assault help centre (CALACS) membership and adopt courses of action.
