This will be achieved by building partnerships and networks, through the exchange of knowledge, the development of an Indigenous toolkit and training sessions. More specifically, through this project ANFCA will develop a forum of networks and training sessions to strengthen capacity and advance GBV work within organizations and communities. The project will review and develop existing GBV educational materials to create a new Indigenous best practices toolkit and a risk framework pilot for organizations working in or seeking to work within GBV. The organization will collaborate with the ANFCA GBV working group, community stakeholders and participate on provincial government at various tables on their capacity-building activities. Furthermore, promotional and marketing material for their 16 days of action on GBV awareness will be developed and distributed to their Friendship Centres (FC) and the communities they serve in Alberta. At the end of this project.
