Description:
Through this 29-month project, Calgary Outlink Centre for Gender and Sexual Diversity will build stronger capacity of 2SLGBTQI+ community organizations and networks to advance 2SLGBTQI+ equality. It will address service gaps while reducing organizational silos and the duplication of efforts between service providers and 2SLGBTQI+ communities. The project will include conducting a needs assessment, the development of an Interagency Network of 2SLGBTQI+-serving organizations and the creation of an online resource database to strengthen connections, develop a coordinated approach for collaboration and to bolster resource-sharing between 2SLGBTQI+ service providers in Calgary and surrounding areas. To share their knowledge, Calgary Outlink Centre will disseminate lessons-learned through community outreach sessions.
