Description:
Through this 30-month project, Community-Based Research Centre Society will build its capacity to serve 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, organizations, and networks to advance 2SLGBTQIA+ health and equality. Working alongside 2SLGBTQIA+ communities and partners, CBRC will undertake a comprehensive and collaborative strategic planning process to identify its strategic focus and priorities through 2027. It will develop a recruitment, compensation, and performance management strategy centred on justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion principles to attract and retain diverse, talented, and passionate 2SLGBTQIA+ staff members. Rooted in anti-racist principles, CBRC will work with partners to develop and implement a capacity-building learning module to help organizations work more collaboratively and effectively, maximizing impact.

Advancement towards a greater understanding of the intersection of sex and gender with other identity factors that include race, national and ethnic origin, Indigenous origin or identity, age, sexual orientation, socio-economic condition, place of residence and disability are encouraged under the Program.
