Description:
Through this 25-month systemic change project, Yukon Women in Trades and Technology (YWITT) will scale their Facilitating Leadership, Opportunity and Advocacy in Trades and Technology (FLOATT) project to advance women’s economic security and prosperity across the Yukon. It will scale to include workers of all genders and direct engagement with industry partners. It will address gaps of meaningful inclusion, recruitment, and retention of 2SLGBTQIA+ and women tradespeople in trades, especially those in leadership roles. To do so, the project will scale community involvement, deliver training, and foster the development of a leadership cohort.
