Description:

Through this 25-month project, the Massimadi Foundation will strengthen the capacity and networks of 2SLGBTQI+ community organizations to advance 2SLGBTQI+ equality. The project will raise the profile of the Afro-descendant 2SLGBTQI+ community through inclusivity, accessibility, and representation within Quebec’s cultural landscapes. The project will include improving and strengthening the organization’s financial management, registering the organization as a charity, and developing a communications plan, as well as redesigning the website.

The purpose of ESSOGIE program is to advance social, political and economic equality with respect to sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression.

Advancement towards a greater understanding of the intersection of sex and gender with other identity factors that include race, national and ethnic origin, Indigenous origin or identity, age, sexual orientation, socio-economic condition, place of residence and disability are encouraged under the Program.
