Through this 19-month project, Fire Service Women BC Society will build its capacity to advance gender equality. It will address the gaps in leadership opportunities and supports for the advancement of women in the fire services field. The project will include the development of a strategic plan and financial sustainability framework, strengthening of the organization's governance capacity, and updating of governing bylaws and policy guidebook to support the organization's ability address the unique needs of women in fire services
