Description:
Through this 19-month systemic change project, TechGirls Canada (TGC) will scale the Catalyst project to advance women's economic security and prosperity. It will scale to increase stakeholder networks and collaboration. This project will address barriers immigrant women face in STEM hiring and career advancement practices and build partnership between STEM employers and immigrant serving agencies (ISAs). To do so, TGC will develop CatalystNEXT, a career advancement training program that will connect ISAs to regional STEM employers, equip employers with accessibility to immigrant women's job applications and online career portfolios, and empower STEM employers with effective practices for hiring them. TGC will also develop a sustainable collaboration model.
