Description:

Through this 19-month project, the YWCA will build its capacity to advance gender equality. It will address persisting barriers to economic security and decision-making authority for diverse cisgender women, transgender women, and non-binary people in both the organization and the community. The project will include developing and enhancing the organization’s climate of inclusion; transforming its management, consultation, and governance practices; and improving its internal policies and standards on human resources to help improve the organization’s position as an ally in social justice. The project will involve all teams (employees, volunteers, members, and residents) within the YWCA in a comprehensive, systemic Gender-Based Analysis Plus process.
