Description:
Through this 20-month project, Association for the Alberta Network of Immigrant Women (ANIW) will build its capacity to advance gender equality. It will address the empowerment of immigrant women to address gender equality issues within the objectives and activities of the projects that ANIW delivers. The project will include convening the board of directors to enhance expertise on technology and fund development, collecting data to create and use an organizational database to identify gaps, improving board governance, specifically by developing and implementing a strategic plan for sustainability, and conducting workshops and staff training on GBA+ and Key Performance Indicators.
