Description:
Through this 20-month project, Immigrant Women’s Information Network will build its organizational capacity to advance gender equality. It will address the need for a coordinated, culturally sensitive and community-driven approach to address gender-based discrimination and violence in the South Asian community. The project will include the creation of a strategic plan, the implementation of a governance audit, a needs assessment to identify culturally specific tools and resources, and continuous learning and networking activities to increase sectoral capacity.
