Description:
Through this 19-month systemic change project, Rise Women’s Legal Centre will scale Rural, Remote, and Northern Lawyer Practices to advance women’s economic prosperity. The project will scale GV21609 to directly influence and change lawyer’s practices to address barriers to economic participation due to unequal access to family law amongst women experiencing violence in rural, remote, and Northern communities. To do so, the project will develop and deliver personalized, targeted trainings and supports to lawyers, strengthen sectoral collaborations to cultivate knowledge-sharing opportunities, and produce a publicly available podcast to enhance supports for lawyers’ needs in the context of rural, remote, and Northern practices.
