Description:
Through this 33-month project, Sophia Recovery Centre Inc. will build its capacity to advance gender equality. It will address the organization's ability to build long term capacity and sustainability to support women seeking recovery. The project will include a review and update of board governance, organizational financial health, succession planning, human resource management, internal policy review, and strategic planning.
With the supplemental funds and extension provided in early 2026, Sophia Recovery Centre will enhance its organizational readiness for national accreditation by developing a comprehensive suite of governance, operational, and quality assurance policies, while collaborating with key partners to design a client-centered, gender centered, gender-responsive Measurement Based Care framework. Through this, they will further advance Gender Equality.
