Description:
This 30-month project will promote a feminist response to and recovery from the current impact of COVID-19 through systemic change. To achieve this, the Réseau femmes et politique municipale de la Capitale-Nationale plans to rethink the onboarding and inclusion of women within the municipal advisory system, first by drafting a status report for the Capitale-Nationale to obtain a picture of the reality on the ground in terms of diversity and inclusion, and later by implementing two “pilot” projects with the neighbourhood councils of the Ville de Québec and advisory committees of the RCMs of the Capitale-Nationale region, and by supplementing the offer to provide guidance to the RCMs with an inclusion and diversity component for drafting equality policies.
