Description:
Through this 11-month project The Dragonfly Counseling and Support Centre will build its capacity to advance gender equality. It will address the organization’s need for a strategic plan which will improve the operational efficiency of their organization along with strengthening their relationships with their clients, community, and stakeholders. The 5-year Strategic Plan aims to increase community access to the organization and empower women who will seek their counselling services. Key activities include expanding on their gender justice and Indigenous principles, the development of a comprehensive strategic plan and communications strategy ensuring alignment between the organization’s Community and Agency goals for sustainable growth that will improve their capacity to support their commitment to ending the cycle of sexual abuse and assault in North Central East Alberta.
