To do so, the project will conduct race-based research; develop an e-learning program (ELP) for industry leaders to learn about equity, anti-Black racism, and how to improve processes of promotion, recruitment, and retention of Black women; and promote the ELP at industry conferences and through partner networks. TRSC will also publish a content series that challenges stereotypes and highlights Black women in foodservice, host conferences for knowledge sharing, and connect Black women to industry leaders, recruiters, and mentors to build opportunities for advancement.
