Description:
Through this 18-month project, Ancestral Hands Foundation will build its capacity to advance gender equality. It will address the governance and operational needs experienced by this evolving Black-led, Black-focused, and Black-serving women’s organization. The project will include identifying key organizational needs and developing an action plan; reviewing and adapting financial management infrastructure and verifying legal compliance; undertaking strategic planning; building good governance practices; enhancing senior management and board competencies; and developing and piloting marketing and communications strategies.
