Description:
Through this 17-month project, Sandgate Women’s Shelter of York Region Inc. will build its capacity to advance gender equality. It will address the need to strategically and sustainably fulfill its organizational mission to provide safe shelter, resources, information, and advocacy to all persons who identify as women and their children. The project will 1) build organizational capacity in marketing through a needs assessment and development of a marketing plan; and 2) develop and implement organizational policies and procedures in consultation with relevant stakeholders including recruitment and retainment strategies, HR policies and tools, administrative policies, and safety and security policies.
