Description:
This 5-month project will honour the lives and legacies of missing and murdered Indigenous women, and girls and LGBTQ2S individuals and increase awareness about missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls and LGBTQ2S individuals. Project activities will include: Opening Ceremonies to honour MMIWG2S and a podcast series based on the television episodes of ‘TAKEN’ that tells the personal stories of MMIWG2S through interviews with loved ones, community leaders, elders, experts, and law enforcement.
