Description:
This 20-month project will honour the lives and legacies of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and LGBTQ2S individuals and increase awareness about missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls and LGBTQ2S individuals. Project activities will include: coordination and support of commemoration initiatives, including women-centric educational programming, and the establishment of supports for homelessness and addiction; as well as the development of legacy programming focused on empowerment of First Nations women and girls.
