Description:
This 19-month project will honour the lives and legacies of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and LGBTQ2S individuals and increase awareness about missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls and LGBTQ2S individuals. Project activities will include engaging school aged students groups to produce various arts as a medium to demonstrate teaching, feelings and impact of missing members of the community. The artworks produced, with the help of elders and community partners, will be displayed at various locations within the broader Hamilton community, to encourage viewing and healing conversations.
