Description:
This 9-month project will honour the lives and legacies of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and LGBTQ2S individuals and increase awareness about missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls and LGBTQ2S individuals. Project activities will include: the coordination of commemoration events such Awareness Walk/Run/Horseback Riding followed by a Memorial Gospel Service (Prayers and Healing ceremonies) and the creation of monument to honour the memory of all missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and LGBTQ2S individuals from Onion Lake.
