Description:
This 20-month project will honour the lives and legacies of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and LGBTQ2S individuals and increase awareness about missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls and LGBTQ2S individuals. Project activities will include: working in collaboration with families to create a memorial monument, developing a website to archive individual stories, coordinating a welcome home ceremony, and developing and implementing an engagement and communication strategy to involve and educate the broader public on issues related to missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and LGBTQ2S individuals.
