This 36-month project will address the systemic barriers and gender inequalities currently experienced by female firefighters in Ontario. The Fire Service Women of Ontario has secured the support of Ontario’s Chief Officers, and will implement a strategy, to be piloted in two locations in Ontario in order to identify barriers and affect systemic change.
