Description:

This 11-month project aims to build the capacity of Cercle de Jeunes Rainbow to promote LGBTQ2 equality. The following activities will achieve the project's objectives: registering the organization as a non-profit organization, improving organizational governance and ensuring financial stability. The organization will recruit at least 15 LGBTQ2 youth to be part of their permanent staff. At the end of the project, the organization will have obtained non-profit status.

The purpose of ESSOGIE program is to advance social, political and economic equality with respect to sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression.

Advancement towards a greater understanding of the intersection of sex and gender with other identity factors that include race, national and ethnic origin, Indigenous origin or identity, age, sexual orientation, socio-economic condition, place of residence and disability are encouraged under the Program.
