Description:

This 46-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow the organization to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality through organizational innovations. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the following activities: creating a suite of policy options that target the government and the private sector to increase young women’s role in decision-making spaces; and creating/implementing a fundraising model which will promote advocacy work and generate a long-term source of revenue.

The supplemental funding will be used to mitigate the impact that COVID-19 restrictions have had on the project by allowing the organization to pivot planned in-person workshops and training to online and meet the project objectives of increasing the number of young women leaders within corporations and to increase the quantity and quality of leadership opportunities available for young women leaders.

Expected Results:

Women and stakeholders have access to supports to address issues relating to equality between women and men.
