Description:
This 58-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow the organization to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the following activities: strategic and succession planning; partnership development; and financial sustainability planning. This provincial project will allow EVA BC to continue to support and coordinate community-based anti-violence programs across BC.
Supplemental funding will be used to conduct an environmental scan of key advocacy issues in the gender-based violence sector, to build organizational capacity to affect change through the development of an advocacy strategy and to implement the advocacy strategy through the organizations communications strategy plan.
