Description:
This 59-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow Girls Incorporated of Limestone, Algonquin and Lakeshore to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced with a focus on strengthening their advocacy strategy and strategic plan, and will include the facilitation of discussions, the delivery of workshops, and preparation and distribution of related advocacy resources, for Frontenac, Lennox & Addington, Hastings and Prince Edward counties. The 2023 supplemental funding will be used to operationalize Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DEI) principles in the organization’s documentation, processes and practices, while also implementing an agency-wide diversity survey, and strengthening DEI-focused partnerships.
